Alienware was founded in 1996 by Nelson Gonzalez and Alex Aguila. The company assembles high performance desktops and notebooks. Most of their products are based off of sci-fi designs. Dell was planning to buy the Alienware company in 2002 and actually bought it on March 22, 2006. Before Dell bought Alienware, Alienware competed with the Dell XPS gaming PC line. The company now has about 700 Employees worldwide.
